I stood behind the door and listened while Luna Jen and Alpha Ben walked onto the deck to join Seb greet the guests.
"Where is Alice?" Seb whispered to Jen when she reached him.
"She's just finishing some stuff, she'll be out in a minute." Jen smiled. She tried her hardest to hide how excited she was.
My palms were sweaty, my heart was racing as I shifted from foot to foot. I was nervous. I was about to stand in front of our whole pack and seek their permission to become their Luna. To put it lightly, I was freaking out! Jen had spent all day preparing me and helping me memorise everything I needed to know. It was definitely a bonus having such a wonderful and knowledgeable Luna to teach me.
