Chapter Twenty-One She had been back for a week. Turned out she didn’t have a job anymore, which wasn’t surprising. She did have office experience though and, through one of her foster sisters, was able to get a receptionist job at a hair salon. It was infinitely better than the restaurant and much more relaxed in comparison. She loved that she was able to chat with the customers when they came in. They also seemed to like to talk with her too. It gave her a taste of being back in Westbeach with all the friendliness inside of the salon.
