Ben felt an urgency to get to Laylit and the sea people. It pressed on him, waking or sleeping, and their pace in getting there did not come close to the urgency he felt. There were people in their traveling company who needed frequent breaks. Olumi and Dawit couldn"t be convinced to wake up and start walking without a hot drink in the morning. And it wouldn"t have made much of a difference if they could, Ben had to admit. This part of the journey seemed impossible. They were much wearier than when they started, and now they needed to climb down the mountain range, through the forests, along the flatlands, and walk to the sea.
