After the dragon caught her up in its talons, Teru kept her eyes tightly shut. At least for the first part of the flight. The dipping and swaying terrified her and made her feel sick to her stomach, but at a certain point, she needed to open her eyes, needed to see.
She blinked a few times and felt the terror recede a little. They were flying over a forest. Flying. The trees were unfamiliar, like nothing she had ever seen, and Teru"s fear vanished as curiosity took its place. She loved plants of every kind. Her garden was her masterpiece. She counted twelve new species of trees alone. Where under Nenyi"s skies was she? She also stored the information for later. Curiosity and wonder left her no room for fear. It could be helpful. Teru was used to having to manage her emotions.
