“Stop the cab!” Agnes yelled out to the driver. She wanted to take a better look. “I can"t stop here,” said the driver, looking in his reversing mirror. There was a line of traffic behind him. “You have to stop. Please, just stop!” By now Agnes was kneeling on the back seat frantically searching for where she had last seen the body in the water. The taxi driver switched on his warning lights and pulled over. Agnes leapt out of the cab and ran back along the bridge, ducking up and down trying to see through the railings. In the meantime, the taxi continued across the bridge and parked on the other side. The driver then hurried back to find his passenger, he still had no idea what had happened.
