Agnes awoke with a splitting headache. It took her a few seconds to realise she wasn"t in her hotel room. She sat up slowly and tried to look around. But she couldn"t see much as it was so dark; there was only one small window high above her and there was very little light coming from there. Where the hell was she?
The last thing she remembered was being in the bar talking to David Drummond. What had happened in between then and now? But her head was still hurting so much, she was forced to lie back down and close her eyes.
