Alexie pov
I still can't believe what happened earlier this evening, I was just humiliated by Beryl that b***h and the look on everyone face especially Beryl, the way she smirk send shiver down my spine she looks like a demon when she make that face.
"That b***h" I said and took the vase on the table and smash it on the floor and not still satisfied, I broke everything in my room.
I lit up a cigarette and sat down on a sofa "That b***h, I will let her know that she messed with the wrong person" I cursed breathing heavily.
Just then the door of my room flunged open and my manager Brooke walked in and looked at the mess I made.
"what the hell, are you trying to get yourself killed" he asked me in a serious tone
I glared at him coldly and rolled my eyes.
"..." he couldn't find the right words and he put on an act "Who the hell make my princess angry" he said putting him hands on his waist.
I look at him with disdain in my eyes.
He continues "whosoever it is, I will make sure they pay for what they did to you"
"Regardless of who they are" I asked him in a low tone.
"Yes, no one hurt my princess and go scott free, I will make sure to torture them, and make them cry...." I cut him off by telling him who the person is.
"It was Beryl" I told him.
"Wh.....what"he stammered and I can see he was confused and scared as if he saw a ghost.
" Are you still going to avenge me "I asked him
"...... "he could not find the right words and he was sweating profusely.
Seeing him in that state I stood up to leave" you are so useless "I said walking to the door.
He grabbed my arm.
" hey don't try anything stupid "he said his voice trembling
" what"I said to him
"I said don't do anything stupid" he repeat what he he just said
"I can't believe this" I yanked my arm away from his hold and he grabbed my shoulders and locked gaze with me
"Listen to me, Beryl is not the kind of person you can mess with, she is a psychopath and she is dangerous" he took a deep breath and continued "look at what she did to her boyfriend, just because of a small argument she pushed him down the stairs, Alexie she is a demon who doesn't care about the people around her and I don't want her to hurt you"
Hearing those words makes me angry because I don't know why everyone is so afraid of her, treating her like she is some kind of gods, just the thought of her make me hate her more and more, since the first day I saw her I knew she was nothing but trouble and she took the spotlight from me and since then I hate her so much that I wish she could just die.
I angrily break free from his hold and storm out of the villa and got into my car and drove out of the villa not giving him room to say anything else to me.
Beryl pov
I sat down on my chair still pissed off about what Alexie did earlier, sighing heavily I watched other as they engaged themselves in conversation, I look down at my wrist watch and the time is already past eleven. Leo noticed me glancing at my clock and he stood up and excused us out of the group.
"we will be taking our leave, thank you guys so much for your cooperation" he said and bow down slightly and we left the room
Stepping outside the hotel I gave a sigh of relief taking a step forward I lost balance and Leo held me so I won't fall.
"Hey are you okay" he asked me with his eye full of concern.
"Yeah am fine, I just feel a bit tired" I told him forcing a smile on my face.
He look at me and gave me a look that says "do you expect me to believe that"
"why are you staring at me like that, am really fine" I said smiling wider at him
"Are you sure" he asked me.
"yes very sure" I told him.
"oh about Alexie" he said as if remember something.
"what about her" I furrowed my brow.
"About what happened today, I don't think she would back off" he said dipping his hands in his pocket.
"I know she definitely will" I said to him.
"So what are you going to do about it" he asked
"Any game she has up her sleeve, am ready to play along with her" I said with a smirk on my face.
"Alright I trust you" he said and ruffled my hair with his hand.
I pout at his behavior because he is treating me like a little girl
"what" he asked me and I glare him and he chuckled, using his hand to turn me around towards the car"you should get going and be good okay"he said looking like a father scolding his five years old Daughter.
"are you not going with me" I asked him confused cos he always make sure he escorts me to my very door.
"I have some matters to take care of" he said very fast "good night" he said running away not waiting for me to reply him.
"why is he acting weird" I shrugged my shoulder and was about to open the door, I felt a gaze on me, and I turned around to see who it is
"ma'am is there a problem" my driver asked me
"not at all" I said to him and shot him an icy glare
He shutted his mouth not saying any more words and drove me to my villa, I stepped out of car and entered the house and the sight of what I saw shocked mec my brothers are inside my house watching movies and munching on snacks. They did not notice me and was deeply engrossed in what they are watching.
"Freaks" I cursed under my breath and take a deep breath before breaking the silence, I cough to draw their attention
They froze and turn to me and smiled ackwardly
"Hi sis" they both said at the same time and turned their gazed away from me
Their behavior seems suspicious because Aiden is the tough one between them and his behavior confirms my suspicion.
"what did you guys do this time around" I asked them
They were shocked and start blinking their eyes, they definitely caused trouble
