Hidden brothers

Beryl pov

I sat down on a couch gazing at my brothers intensively, they was afraid to look into my eyes and kept staring at the marble floor as if there is something fascinating in the floor.

"What have you done this time around" I asked them with my arm crossed

Jayden and Aiden stared at each other for a while before turning their gaze on me.

"we....." Jayden stammered glaring at his twin brother, blinking his eyes "em...." he was short of words

I knew Jayden is not the type to cause trouble because he is always the one who is bullied by others and always afraid when criticized by others but Aiden on the other hand is the opposite of Jayden, nothing moves him and most of the times his facial is is so hard to read. Aiden voice brought me back to reality

"It was my fault" Aiden said in a rude manner, he continued "Jayden was bullied by some seniors and I beat them up, so some of them are in hospitalized".

"so why are you guys back here" I asked them coldly.

"Don't you want us here" he asked me.

"....." I was lost of words for the first time and stared at them

"Do you hate us that much that you don't want to see us" Aiden asked me in a serious tone.

"What are you guys talking about" I asked them confused.

"if you don't want us here, just tell us and we will leave" Jayden added feeling disappointed.

"Hell no" I almost screamed loudly.

"What" they both said surprised at my reply.

"you.. can stay if you want to" I said staring at the TV awkwardly.

I can see that they were both happy about it even if Aiden tried his possible best to hide his excitement.

"You can pick any room of your choice but.." I stopped talking and sighed heavily.

"But what" Jayden asked eagerly.

"No one must know that you are my brothers" I stared at them and added "for your own safety"

"yeah we know, you always say that most of the times" Aiden said with a hint of sarcasm in his voice.

Jayden hit his shoulder "okay sis, we will go check out our room" he said dragging him away.

I watched their retreating figures and retired back to my room, back in my room my mind was a mess. I don't know why my parents left me with this freaks, speaking of my parents I haven't seen them since I was thirteen years old. They abandoned me and my siblings so I have been taking care of them since then, doing menial jobs to support us but after i managed to graduate from high school, I got an opportunity to join the art industry, since then i kept my brothers identity because I don't want them to criticized the way I was. So they had to study abroad but those freaks kept causing trouble wherever they go to and they are back here with me again.

Laying on the bed still lost in thought, I don't know when I dozed off

Ryan's pov

I sat down in my office, staring at the picture on my laptop screen, a tall elegant lady with slender waist and straight legs, what entices me was her Grey eyes, just then someone barged into my office panting heavily as if he has been chased all the way here.

"Boss I found something" his secretary Joseph said catching his breath

"What did you found" I said with my arm crossed.

He brought out a picture from his pocket and handed it to me.

I stretched forth my hand to receive the picture, I saw two entering Beryl villa late in the night, I stared at the picture for a while and it's seem they look alike and somehow resemble Beryl," maybe it's her distant cousins who came to visit her" I thought to myself, but if they are why would they come in the night putting on Cardigan and trying to hide their face. A realization hit me "could it be..."

"I think they are Miss Beryl siblings" he said putting on a serious face

"mm" I said furrowing my brows, how could it be, so she lied about being an Orphan and having no family members "why did she lied, she is definitely hiding something from the public" I thought to myself

"those guys are not based in this country" he said handing a file to me

I looked ar the file intensively and admit that Beryl is really good at hiding things but why would she hide her brothers.

"I investigate them and found something interesting" he said, I looked at him and he continued "they lived abroad in Australia under fake identity, everyone there know them as Ryker and Ryder but their real name is Aiden and Jayden"

"How did you find out" I asked him being surprised about how he could gather more information about them.

"The twins are quite troublesome" he sighed before he continued "they always caused trouble wherever they went" he lean over and speak in a whisper as if sharing a secret"Australia was the fifth country they lived in and after causing trouble there, they were deported "

" since its their fifth country,why did they decide to come back to their sister instead of relocating to another country as they always bave"i asked in curiosity

"that's what I don't understand, why did they decide to come back home now after so many years, maybe they missed their sister" he said placing his hand on his chin "i doubt that is not the reason".

"What made you think so" I asked him

"they haven't been in touched for several year, they try reaching out to her buh she kept ignoring them so they definitely will hold grudges against her" he concluded

I waved my hands dismissively "you can go and make sure to get to the bottom of the matter"

"OK boss" Joseph said and left the office

I stared blankly at the picture"they really resemble her " I looked closely at the picture, one was looking very bright as if he was happy to be home while the other one was expressionless.

" but why did Vesper target her as his next victim" I asked myself
