I woke up early to get ready for work as I quickly showered then got dressed in a black knee length black skirt and a milk colored top. I put on my black shoes and took my black bag before walking out of my room.
“ Good morning Mom," I greeted as I walked to her and kissed her on the cheek,
“ How was your night?" she asked,
" Was good, and yours?” I asked,
" Splendid. Breakfast is ready, make sure to take your medicine after breakfast. I really don't know why you insist on going to work after just being discharged from the hospital. I thought your boyfriend was the boss?”
" Mom..." I said with a laugh…“I thought you were the one scolding me about having my boss as my boyfriend, now you're using it against me,” I said and she just shrugged,
" I'm just saying, go on, eat your breakfast
