"What are you talking about? Haven't we talked about this?" I asked as I looked at her in confusion. I couldn't deny the fact that her saying ‘no’ hurt me.
Was she still worried that her Mom would disapprove of me as her boyfriend or was she embarrassed? But she told me she wasn't embarrassed and I believed her. Did she suddenly change her mind?
