“At the river’s edge, a modest, relatively young Jesus of 30 entered the water. As John looked up from the river, he was awestruck. He who is without sin came to be baptized. John the Baptist said to Jesus, ‘I am not worthy to buckle your sandal strap.’ By all accounts, the start of His ministry was modest but soon would become the most important singular event in human history. It changed the way the world was seen, and how we lived in it, and how we have ever since devoted our lives to Him, Jesus Christ.”
