From the pulpit came Pastor Jerry Perry, MM, Master of Music Ministry, and pastor-elect of the Church of Jesus Upon this Rock Ministry, conducting the Sunday morning service. “Mrs. Perry and I had a child once, we still do; in fact, we have four beautiful children, but this beautiful baby boy we no longer have with us. We gave him to heaven because he was needed there. He was our first-born son and we named him Jerry Jr, not to be confused with Jerry Jr now, our youngest. This was Jerry Jr, our first son, and the second child after the birth of our daughter, Mary. It can be a little confusing, I know.
