Eloise’s POV
“Sir, Master―I am begging you!” My loud cries echoed around the halls of the room as Master Giovanni dragged me down the stairs by pulling every strand of my hair, forcing me to stumble down on the sharp steep of each step, wounding, and injuring my legs.
“It… it hurts!” I continued my wailing while I tried my best to pull out of his hands. He kept on dragging me until we reached the ground floor. He threw me by the wall and I could feel my spine breaking and shattering into pieces as I curled my body up to support myself from the unearthly pain that was given to me.
It was as if my ribs had already poked a hole in my organs and my wolf was severely tortured. My limbs were shaking and even if I forced myself to just cry and let the pain all out, there was no tear left for me to cry. All I have is my blood-stained dress and wounds opening up every time I try to move.
“How dare you try to steal the alpha from my daughter? I know you’re never a good deal!” Master shouted as he kicked me from limb to limb, slapped my face until I could no longer feel pain, and punched my body until I choked from my blood and vomited every single food I ate from the only meal I had yesterday.
I tried my best to protect myself from the blows he was giving but as my body reacted to the pain, he just found an opening to strike again.
“Sir, you’re killing the woman!” The headmistress of the house shouted as she saw me lying on the floor, almost lifeless.
I was bathing in my blood, not knowing where he would strike again. He could have just killed me… it would have been easier.
That way, I wouldn’t suffer from these broken bones and shattered body structures.
I waited. Lifting my head, trying to think there would be mercy in my head. When was the last time someone took shelter for me? I don’t know. Perhaps, there wasn’t such a case at all? Explains why I have grown used to the pain that is inflicted on me.
“I am trying to kill the child she could have,” Master said.
I was frozen. He… kept on aiming for my stomach, didn’t he? To kill whatever I am carrying… if the alpha happens to make a mistake and plant his seed.
“It’s already dead.” The headmistress whispered. “Before you even hit her, I’ve already put something in her drink,” she lied just to stop Master Giovanni from killing me.
I couldn’t open my eyes anymore. The swelling has reached my eye and it stings so bad, that I know I won’t be able to use my vision for a while.
“Keep that woman away from me, who knows what I might do to her.” He said. I could feel how his voice calmed down but at the same time, the anger was still lingering with him.
“Throw her out.” The beta said.
I could hear something ringing in my ears. What… will happen to me now?
“But Master, there would be a storm later―
“Yes, and?” he coldly responded. “Would you rather you stand under the thunderstorm and take her place?”
His words were powerful enough. On both ends of my arms, someone helped me up. I could feel how the bending of my knees made it sting and how my bones continued to sound like it was being broken into pieces using a hard metal that continued being banged on my back.
They dragged me out and did not even help me get down the stairs safely. I stumbled upon the high ground and fell on my face on the muddy ground. I couldn’t move my body anymore. My energy had run dry, all I could do was breathe, cry, and silently scream inside my head.
As the rain slowly poured down my head, droplets by droplets, I felt it comforting me. Even if the wind which was cold and made me shiver in pain was hugging me, I could only be thankful that I was still alive.
I lifted my head as I wiped my tears. Alongside the rain that washed all the water in my eyes, I tried my best to crawl.
I stared at my face by the puddle, a small pool of water coming from the rain. I noticed how I am barely recognizable. I am no longer the woman I was before.
The sharp stones continued to create more open cuts in my body but I could no longer feel how bad they hurt. There is no more time for me to reflect and ponder on how I can make them hurt less. All I wanted to do was run… but with the way they severed my body so I would die in vain in front of their mansion, they planned everything well enough.
Lighting eventually came and I caught a small glimpse of the environment in front of me. I was about to give up, lose all my strength, and just let this whole thing kill me when my eyes, forcefully open, landed on someone else’s foot.
Suddenly, I felt like hope visited me. With the droplets of water blurring my vision, I still lifted my head to try and see who the person was. My voice was gone, I could not answer any questions.
The man bent down to get a full glimpse of me. The darkness and fog, it is blocking everything. I cannot see… who this man is.
I forced myself to talk. I coughed and vomited blood before actually moving forward. “Who… who are you?” I whispered in the air. I tried my best not to stammer and make him walk away from me.
Before I could pass out, my surroundings suddenly became quiet. With the spatter of liquid hitting the ground and the rustling of leaves amid thunder, everything became clear.
Lighting makes his face visible as he whispers the words, “Tyrone Cyprus.”
Confusion, exhaustion, and hesitations filled my mind. Who is he? Why is he in front of a pitiful omega rejected and loathed by everyone?
