AVA'S FAMILY HOUSE
Ava woke up early, the first light of dawn creeping through the curtains, casting a soft glow across the room. She stretched, smiling to herself as she thought about the day ahead. Her heart fluttered at the thought of seeing her dad again, and the excitement was almost too much to contain.
“I can’t wait to see him,” she whispered to herself, grinning.
She jumped out of bed and walked to the bathroom. The warm water from the shower felt good against her skin as she let herself relax. After a long, soothing bath, she stepped out, wrapped herself in a robe, and headed back to her bedroom. She stood in front of the mirror, looking at herself. A quick grin spread across her face as she looked at her reflection. She was ready for the day.
