Ethan settled back into the plush leather of the living room couch, his eyes glued to his laptop. He was deep in thought, fingers moving slowly as he sifted through the pages of the industry's reports.
His focus was broken by a slight cough. He looked up to find Gideon standing in the doorway.
“Good morning, sir,” Gideon greeted.
Ethan glanced up briefly, his face softening slightly. “Good morning, Gideon.”
He returned his eyes back to the computer screen but noticed that Gideon was standing beside him, without saying anything further.
