Late in the afternoon, John entered the office with a file in his hands, looking anxious. He approached Daniel’s desk and cleared his throat.
"I’ve gathered the information you asked for on Velocity Express," John said, passing over the file.
Daniel looked up from his papers and grabbed the file, his eyes narrowing as he opened the file and started reading, his gaze scanning for anything that might explain the sudden rise of this newcomer.
"Hmph," he muttered, his fingers pausing on a line of text. "Ethan Wayne… So that’s the guy behind all this. Funny, I haven’t heard of him."
John nodded. “No, sir. I looked into it, and he seems to be relatively new to the scene. But the company has been growing at an impressive rate.”
