Angela angrily reached for the phone and pressed a button, calling for security. She spoke in a clipped, authoritative tone.
"Please send security to my office immediately." She said, carrying out her earlier threat.
This was her company and she wouldn't let anyone disrespect her or any of her clients, especially one as important as Ethan Wayne.
Samantha completely ignored Angela as she continued her rant.
Samantha’s eyes narrowed as she glared at Ethan, her voice laced with disdain. "You must be really desperate, Ethan, pretending to be someone you’re not. But don’t get any ideas. I would never get back with you—not now, not ever."
Ethan met her gaze, his expression calm. "I didn’t come here to win you back, Samantha. I’m here for business, and that’s all."
