Samantha’s eyes narrowed as she turned her attention to Ethan and his girlfriend, Helen. She looked him up and down. “So, what? You’re pretending to be wealthy now? This is all a show, isn’t it?”
Helen stepped forward, her voice calm but firm. “Samantha, we’re not here to cause trouble. But please, you don’t have to insult my boyfriend.”
Samantha scoffed, looking Helen up and down with in anger. “Stay out of this, sweetheart. This is between me and Ethan.”
Helen raised an eyebrow, shocked at the scene Samantha was creating. “I was just trying to be polite. After all, we’re here to celebrate, not argue.”
Samantha turned her back on Helen, glaring at Ethan. “You think you can just walk in here and ruin my wedding? This isn’t some game, Ethan!”
