I came back to the pack house with Beta Degen behind me. But the first person I searched for was Beta Jaime. There was no sight of him, though.
"Where the hell is that piece of a jerk!" I growled, scanning the lobby as I entered. "Jaime! Jaime!" My voice echoed across the ground, and one of my staff members came running towards me.
"Alpha, Beta Jaime left," she said, running her breath. "...and he got his things with him."
