Chapter 8The divorce was amicable.
Stephanie had brought it up with trepidation. She wasn’t sure how David was going to take it. She knew that he knew that they were not compatible.
Heck, he knew he had been drifting.
David took it well, and admitted as much. He had lost interest. It would be better if they parted ways, and each could be with someone they deserved.
Stephanie would keep custody of Ben, and David would get visitation rights.
Really, it couldn’t have gone any better than planned. David wasn’t angry, and neither was Stephanie. There was no resentment, no lingering negative feelings.
