Adam has been coming around a lot more lately. It was funny how I’ve known him since we were kids, me and him used to play in the office when we were just babies and young kids. I remember us pretending to fix cars and running hand in hand. We were very close then as we grew up I became more like my father a workaholic and him more like his father a social butterfly.
He became popular while I became just another girl. The little boy who used to tell me he would marry me when we grew up and we would work together to run the shop is the same boy who has a different girl every week under his arm.
