I walked through the school hallways like a zombie, my night had been filled with too many nightmares to allow me even a second of sleep. My eyes were heavy and I felt like I'd pass out on any plane surface I'd get. And besides that he wasn't here. I was feeling low since he had left me standing all alone on the stairs to my apartment and then even my ghost hadn't come to visit. And it had left me even more out of sorts. I felt incomplete, the rush I’d feel knowing I was about to face my Knîght in the class was absent. I was ashamed to admit it but I had even ventured as far as going to his office to check if he was there. He wasn’t.
