6 Butterfly Farm She wished to work with butterflies because she found them beautiful. I will surround myself with their colours, she thought, then I shall be happy. It will give me some meaning in my life. She interviewed at the butterfly farm, armed with all the salient facts, neatly copied onto cards in her pocket. She had adored butterflies in books and fluttering prettily in her garden. But up close she found they resembled tiny, crumpled alien men and she would shudder at the sight of them.
