Later that night, Ella rolled onto her side. She was tucked up against Ty’s side. She stared out of the window. Through a crack in the blinds, she could see a glimpse of the night sky. The faint glow of lights from all the cars and vans appeared to have been turned off. She imagined that they were too tired and cold to stand around and take pictures of the house only.
