Arabella ‘She can die for all I care.’ Mom's words wouldn't stop ringing in my head no matter how hard I tried pushing them back. I could feel her hostility through them and they clung to me, sinking deeper like a dagger in my chest. I forced my feet to move as fast as they could towards the door.
