  Jason pulled out his phone, hesitated for a few seconds, and finally decided not to make the call.   He told the driver, “Let’s go.”   The driver could tell he wasn’t in a great mood and was about to start the engine when the apartment door opened, and out came a familiar pair—Ruby and Ella.
