I packed up and left the next morning. Joe didn't leave his room so I didn't get to see him before leaving. But he strictly instructed his driver to drop me off at Mum's place. Turns out April did go over to her Nanny's house. She didn't get hurt while speeding down there. You can't imagine how much relief that made me feel. The ride home felt long and mournful. I cried all the way and only dried my eyes when the car pulled up to the front of Mum's house. I thanked the driver and got out of the car. He helped me take out my luggage from the trunk before leaving. Being back in this neighborhood was already making me feel sick.
