Chapter 20 Sarah bolted upright in bed from her nightmare, a scream muffled in her throat. Her skin was clammy, her sheets and blankets disheveled as if she had been running. As the darkness of the early morning enveloped her reality, her breathing slowed to normal. She got out of bed and paddled to the bathroom to splash some water on her face. The images in her dream had been so vivid and real. She remembered being in a large field dotted with large boulders, the sky filled with grey, swirling clouds. She held a large bronze shield on her left forearm and a double-edged sword in her right hand. A volley of arrows from an unseen enemy hidden in the trees darkened the sky, their deadly points zeroing in on her position. Neal was next to her, but he was unarmed and did not have a shield,
