Chapter 38 As soon as Taylour made it home, she went straight to bed, the effects of the food poisoning having completely wiped her out. She slept late the next morning. With the direct light from the sun brightening her bedroom, she reached her hand out from under the covers, turned the alarm clock to where she could see it, and then groaned when she saw 10:58 a.m. staring at her. She needed to run, to sweat out the aches and pains from the previous night's adventures, so she got dressed in her workout clothes and jogged about three miles around her normal circuit.
