Chapter 2- first day of school

June, 15,2020

Ashley's pov

I woke up to my alarm going off. Today was the FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL and I am really excited to see my two best friends even though we saw each other five days ago. We've been inseparable since we were little,they are like my own sisters. Our moms have known each other since high school and when they found out that they were going to gave birth at the same year they were really excited. They said us four would be really good friends. Yup u heard me right four, u see my mom was carrying twins, thats me and my brother Asher. They were right that we would be really good friends, well expect for my brother. He like hanging out with boys. I don't mind though, he can be really annoying sometimes but I still love him.

Waking up in morning is the hardest thing for me to do everyday, thats because Im really lazy. After fighting off the tiredness in my body, I went to the bathroom to take a shower, just to start the day fresh. When finished I went to my closet to find an outfit.



When I was done changing and doing my make up, I went straight down stairs to eat breakfast that my nanny made for my siblings and I. Our parents aren't always home cuz of business trips so thats why our drivers are always the ones bringing and getting us from school, but I don't mind, cuz that means we can do anything we want without anyone lecturing us for hours. When my parents are home they make sure they spend their time with us, and Im really thankful for that.

After finishing my food I waited for my siblings to be done before going to the car. Me and my brother arrived at school and I quickly saw my best friends waiting for me inside. I went to them and greeted them good morning. I found out that me and Maddie are in the same class, but sadly Hannah was in a deferent section. The bell rang, Maddie and I said our goodbyes to Hannah and went our way to our homeroom class. When we arrived everybody was already there. My eyes immediately landed on Drake, I kinda have a little crush on him since last summer. Well like I said before, my brother's friends are always hanging out at our house, so I might have grown a little crush on him. Its just that he is really cute, you know? U see him and my brother were best friends since elementary and since then, he is always going to our house. But just this summer I realize that his kinda cute.

There are four of them actually.Asher Jay, Josh and Drake. They are all friends with the popular kids and as for me I don't really care if Im popular or not as long as I have my best friends Im okay with that. I feel bad for my brother though cuz he can't spend more time with his friends since he is the only one who's not classmates with them.

Me and Maddie went to the back of the class to seat down. After a couple of seconds the teacher interred the room and put her stuff at her desk. "Good Morning everyone my name is Stephanie Thomas but you can call me Mrs. Thomas and I will be you homeroom advisor and math teacher." she said with a smile. " Good morning" we said as a response. "Today we would be discussing the school roles and you will be introducing your self so prepare a short one, but first I will check your attendance" "okay".

After we go over the school roles etc. Our teacher said it was time for us to introduce ourselves. "Lets start at the back, okay lets start at the right" "s**t!! thats me" I said under my breath. " Hi guys so... my name is Ashley Mackenzie Roberts but you can call me Ash or kenzie, its up to you. I am 14 years old. My birthdays on October 23, 2005. I have a twin brother and 2 sisters. I love singing and dancing" I say in one breath. "damn it, anxiety" I say to my self cuz I sounded like I was chased by a train. Thats when I remember I didn't drink my anxiety pills this morning. It helps me to stay calm.

After that I sat back down on my chair and Maddie was stroking my back telling me it was fine. Next it was her turn to introduce her self. When everyone was done we said goodbye to our adviser, then we went to our next class. The rest of the morning classes were chill, we didn't really do much.

Right now me and Maddie are finding hannah so we can go together for lunch. " there she is" I told Maddie when I saw Hannah waiting for us. After that we bought our food and decided to just eat at school. We'll just find a seat and a table for us to eat in.

So how was your morning I ask hannah to start a conversation. " nothing much really" "and oh by the way, me and your brother are classmates" she told me but I know she said it to make Maddie jealous. I don't really care if my friends likes any relatives of mine, I mean thats their life so I don't mind. As long as they don't hurt anyone then Im okay with that." Oh, well Im classmates with Jay" Maddie told her cuz we know she likes Jay. "SHUT UP!" Hannah said playfully. Maddie and I just laughed at her reaction.

After eating we went to our lockers to change our things and went to the bathroom to retouch our make up and stuff. After that we just chill cuz their was still a lot of time till our classes starts.

*bell rings*

"Bye" we said to Hannah before we headed to are class. When we arrived there Drake and his friends were not there, so Im guessing their late. After a couple of minutes they finally arrived with 3 girls that Im guessing is our classmates and their friend that were absent this morning.

The whole class we were just joking around cuz our teacher was pretty cool and funny. I think he's still in his twenties. The class ended and it was time for the next one, but this class was deferent cuz our teacher would be the one choosing our seats. I was hopping to be seat mates with Maddie or Drake but instead i was seated next to Josh I don't mind though, his pretty cool but his not my type. "This would be you're seating arrangement for the rest of the school year and you're seat mates will be your partners for activities that are by pair" our teacher said. I nodded in response some said "okay"

The rest of the class was just me and Josh chatting, cuz we really didn't do much in class. I didn't know Josh and I have a lot in, common until now.

The last class ended. The rest of the afternoon class was pretty much like the morning classes. Right now me and maddie are waiting for Hannah so we can go together to the field for our softball practice. While waiting we saw my brother and his friends but this time they were with the girls that were with Drake earlier when they were late in the first class in the afternoon. "Hmmm... wonder why their together?" i asked myself.
