The Priestess' expression was mixed with pity and concern. This irritated me. Pity is not something that I wanted, especially from a complete stranger. Releasing a sigh while stepping past her, "If you'll excuse me Priestess I have a few matters to attend to. Unfortunately, I'm here on business, and it would appear you have your hands full." She did not stop me but simply gave a short farewell along with "May Sula's light shine upon you." Which almost made me cackle if the Gods truly existed would they really allow such destruction to continue? Continuing through the crowded hall, the smell of blood and illness grew more potent. It was almost nauseating, though, through everyones grief; as well as their pain I doubted anyone noticed. clinching my hands against my side to surpress the rage swelling in my chest, monsters every last one of them, and I'm going to make them pay. However, in order to do so, I must first have a discussion with his majesty. I've known the royal family my whole life, so being granted an audience should be easy enough. Approaching the diamond embroidered wooden doors with golden paint in the design of a weeping willow tree. The diamonds make up the leaves with specks of gold in between. Strangely, there did not appear to be a guard posted outside the doors. Which was extremely uncommon, and I found myself unable to open the door, frozen by a gut-wrenching feeling.
