Standing at he sect gate, Lin Manman had plans to focus on his cultivation. He would avoid going to any missions and even if that sword fairy insisted he would just ignore her.
"Junmo go to the place and submit our mission. Tell them we failed the mission and were schemed by a demon cultivator. Demand some compensation in the mission department. Here use this token from your master." He passed the token he had picked up from Sword fairy Yao before setting off.
The scope of missions provided by the sect should be within the range of capabilities of disciples.
Fauilure to ascertain missions and endanger disciples especially with evil cultivators requires compensation.
Using a token from the sword fairy could also put some pressure on the mission department to be serious in compensation.
Some peak masters usually take advantage of such situations to get more benefits for their disciples. Since a token of a peak master is used, the result might be the same.
The only thing is that it gives them an opportunity to avoid being expoited.
Lin Manman suspected the sword fairy of doing it intentionally so cut off her path of demanding benefits.

Seeing sword fairy looking angry Manman just laughed.
