Fiona’s POV
I woke up with a heavy burden on my stomach. I tried to move but couldn’t. I woke up my eyes to see Edmund laying next to me and his one hand was on my stomach. There was a bandage on his head. I checked his temperature and it was normal.
I slowly removed his hand from my stomach and sat. I watched out of the window and realized that it was evening. I think I slept for hours. I freshen up in the washroom and then headed towards the living room and found Lauren in the kitchen. She was making coffee. She noticed me and invited me with a smile, “Hey Sophia, come.”
I went near to her and she gave me a cup of coffee to me saying, “Here, coffee.” I took it replying to her, “Thanks, Lauren.”
