Sophia’s POV
Edmund worked hard. Really hard for the entire week. He used to come to the office around 11 at the night and leave as early as he could. He didn’t tell me, but I once heard him that he has some issues with his work, and he has lost many deals, and somehow, I feel Lily made did this. She made it difficult for him to do that, so he would come back to her for help.
I wonder how a person could claim to love someone if she is harming the other half like that. I wanted to talk with him, but he said he would manage, and we will come out of this situation very soon.
Today is Sunday and he is still sleeping. I told the staff to be as quiet as possible so that he wouldn’t get disturbed. I want him well-rested so that he can deal with everything.
