Ethan's POV.....

"Man where are you? we have a meeting to attend in a few minutes"

"you can go on with it. I will join you later"

"Ethan what's wrong with you? don't tell me that you have serious fallen for that woman"

" Jacob listen to me. I am not in love with anyone. I just want to have a day off okay so stop getting on my nerves." i hung up immediately and threw the phone to the car seat. what was I doing is what I couldn't understand but all I knew is that I had to find her as soon as possible.

Lias POV...

"are you okay? please get up" the handsome man helped me get up. he held me like I was a delicate prize to him. Not feeling so comfortable with his gaze on me, I pushed myself from his embrace. why was he looking at me like that in the first place.

"sir she's..." the man who had brought me in that restaurant came running but was stopped in his trucks immediately by God knew what. he suddenly went silent and walked away which left me in total confusion. turning around to look at the huge gentleman in front of me I started Wondering if he was the man looking for me. but what would a stranger want from an ordinary lady like me? I thought to myself.

"come am sure you are very tired."

"no.. am not going anywhere with you. I don't know you" I stepped back. I had already had enough. I wasn't going to fall in the hands of some other man I totally knew nothing about.

"stay away from me" I warned him and his men as I stepped back.

"I mean no harm Lia please trust me on this." he reassured me

"how did you know my name?"

"I not only know your name. I know everything about you" he stepped closer trying to hold my chic

"stay I way" I stepped back just to make sure that it wasn't a trap again.

"I have been looking for you for so long now please come with me and I explain everything to you" he sounded so polite that he almost melting my heart. I had finally decided to go with him when my eyes landed on one of the men who were chasing us the day my mother died .My heart immediately started pumping but I didn't want to show them that I was nervous.

"ammm well before you came, I had wanted to use the bathroom so can you maybe wait here so that I first help myself out and besides I am hungry too" I gave him a fake smile but good thing he fell for it.

"ohh it's okay. as you please." he smiled at me and led me to a table with his arm holding the lower part of my back

"you will find me here."he smiled and I returned the smile too before I ran to the bathroom immediately.

"my goodness. what will I do now? how did they find me and what do they want from me?" I went to the sink and poured some water onto my face. I really needed to go out of that place but where would I go to?

"maam are you okay?" a woman who looks to be in her early 30s approached me.

"yah yes of course I am" I tried to compose myself

"okay then" she was about to live but then I held her arm.

"no actually am not okay . I need your help. "I looked at her with pittyful eyes

"what's wrong dear tell me"she held my shoulder.

"I need to get out of this restaurant without anyone noticing. actually I came with a guy to this restaurant but my real husband has also come here. so am stuck. am affraid of what my husband may do incase he sees me with the guy"I lied and to my surprise she fell for it.

"ohh dear. I know what you are going through now. actually this happens to me alot too hahaha "she laughed but I just looked at her.

"okay well I can give you my outfit and I Wear yours" she laughed mischievously.

"okay" I accepted and immediately started undressing which totally surprised her.

"are you serious right now .do you know how much that dress you are wearing costs? it's a designer piece." I looked at her in total confusion. what was she talking about.

"can we just get on with this?"I tried to be as polite as possible.

"okay then" she sounded so excited and I didn't know why but at some point I felt bad because I was going to loose the only thing he had given me. she gave me her blue jeans and white shirt plus her matching boots and cape. I was actually surprised at how they fit me just perfectly.

"thank you so much"

"no it's you I should thank" she smiled and immediately headed for the door but I stopped her before she could go any further.

"wait I have to go out first . they may recognize the dress"

"okay" she said and stepped back.i could feel my heart pumping rapidly as I adjusted the cape to cover my face and opened the door. the moment I saw him destructed on his phone I rushed to the door as I slightly peeped in his direction and his men who stood like robots around him.i was quick but maybe not quick enough.i was about to open the entrance door when I heard some one call me from behind. I stood not saying a word and not daring to turn around.

"madam you didn't pay your bill" the waiter came close to me. I felt Abit of relief as I searched my pockets for the money forgetting that it was in a pocket of the dress I had given that lady.

"sir i think I left it in the washroom let me come back" I pleaded but the waiter wasn't falling for it.

"madam I need my money this instance."he shouted making everyone in the restaurant other than the handsome man look at me.he didn't even look our way.his whole concentration was on the restroom door.

the waiter was about to grab my arm when one of the body guards came with a handle of money and gave it to him

"our boss has told us to give you this so that you can shut your mouth up" the guard said which surprised me to the bones .he was about to see me when I bent my face down alittle further hiding my face from him and left the restaurant immediately. the moment I was out, my eyes landed on another handsome man dressed in all black with sheds. he leaned against a very expensive car though I didn't know it's name I was sure it cost a fortune. he glanced at me for a second and diverted his attention back to his watch.
