CHAPTER NINETEEN ELISA Falling asleep in Luke’s arms is so much easier than drifting off alone. His soft snores and his warmth soothe me. It’s so odd that while cold makes me sleepy, it’s a kind of anxious fatigue. Warmth makes me feel secure. Part of that could also be Luke’s big body.
