Simone POV

As we were walking away I was curious, what happened between Shania and Julian to make her hate him so much.

I said to her “what happened between you two, aren’t you supposed to be mates or something”. She looked sad, then put on a smiley face for me and said “it is complicated when we are out of ears reach I’ll tell you”.

I was thinking, he couldn’t possibly hear us here, from all the way back there could he, probably knowing what I was thinking.

Shania said “werewolves have high senses in everything including ears and hearing, and my eyes went wide as to say woah that’s awesome but scary. I have to watch what I say when I’m around them.

When me and Shania got back to hers everyone was moving around really fast and I found it hard to keep track, I asked Shania if it was normal or not to move this fast in a wolf pack house.

She said “no this isn’t normal let’s go talk to my dad and we will see what is going on”. I was a bit scared because I know her father is the alpha but I’ve never met him.

As we walked into his office I looked at him and he looks nothing like my dad, I stood behind Shania the entire time afraid to meet him then I shook his hand and he was like a father as I saw it on his face.
