"PASSION FOR LOVE"

BEIGE MEETS ELLAINE

Right after that day, when Beige and Jim saw each other again. Her mind is always filled with thoughts about him. She was thinking about why he was there. She was thinking about what brought him there. It was a rainy day and Blake wasn't there doing his daily routine for Beige. He went back to the States for a while, to fix some family problems. Before, he left. He wrote a letter for her. A letter says he is very thankful to her for how much she has changed him. He is grateful for her existence. He is happy to have known someone like her who helps him lead the right direction. He noted that he would be back for her. She smiles while reading the letter. She knew how much Blake truly loved her. She knew that being with him made her life more interesting to live with. She shakes her iced coffee and bids goodbye to the staff of her boyfriend's shop. Later that day, she decided to go to the grocery store to buy some food for her. It was still raining, but for her it was the kind of weather that she liked. She was happy that day. She feels so peaceful. She is very excited about going shopping. It was been a while since she last did this, because ever since she and Blake were together, he really accompanied her every time. She is obviously having fun while picking up some of the things she needs for her house. As she continues to choose what flavor of ice cream she will buy. A little girl who looked so cute approached her. The little girl said hello to her and added that she liked her bag. Beige smiled at her and said thank you to the little girl. Beige gave her a keychain instead, from her bag because she couldn't have her bag. The little girl jumps so high. She was very glad to receive a present from Beige. Later, Beige asks the child who was with her. She said that she was with her mom. Her mom was starting to look for her. When she found out where she was, the little girl immediately told her mom that she had met a beautiful lady who was kind-hearted enough to give her a gift. Beige and Ellaine's eyes met. They were both shocked to see each other. Beige gave her a smile, while Ellaine just simply asked her daughter to say thank you to her again. With disbelief, Beige left first. She whispers, "Why am I seeing them lately?" She settles her bill. As she was about to put her groceries in her car, Ellaine followed her. She talked to her and asked her if they could sip coffee for a little while. Her daughter had already left with her sister. It just happened that they were also in the area because she had been visiting her sister who lives close to the mall. Beige agrees with her. They both went to a coffee shop inside the mall. They greeted each other. Ellaine's hands were shaking. It was their first ever sit-down encounter with each other. It was her first ever to see her up close. Beige started the conversation. She mentioned to her that she was very surprised to see her and her daughter. She told her that it's a small world after all. She also added, that she was not aware that it was her daughter the one that she met earlier. Ellaine wants to give her cold treatment, but she realizes how nice Beige is as a person. Beige was very accommodating to her. She even clarified to Ellaine, that if she thought that she would take Jim back to her life, it was probably not anymore. She understood that their situation was too far from reality to be possible again. She explained to her the last book she wrote for Jim, and also asked her to take good care of him for her. She also tells Ellaine that she is happy for her and that Jim is lucky to have her as his wife. She is glad that Jim has his own family now. She ended her words by saying to Ellaine that she was really over with him. Ellaine was embarrassed at herself. She wanted to get mad at her, but she was too pleasant. She wanted to blame her, but she later realized that it was not her fault. Ellaine managed to put all the things that she wanted to say to Beige. It took a lot of courage for her to be able to say how she hated Beige for a time. She told Beige of all her pains and sufferings, she had to be with Jim just because she loved him. She hated to break it down for her, but she was honest enough to tell her that, for the longest time, Jim really felt lost in his self and life. Ellaine started to cry and Beige tried to comfort her. She gave her handkerchief to wipe her tears. She continued talking to Beige, and she said that she couldn't really replace her in his heart. That she tried to throw away all those things that reminded her of him but she never did. Beige hugged her so tightly and she felt sorry to hear everything. She just reminded Ellaine that she had already had him for such a long time. That, she shouldn't feel worried because she would not try to bring him back to her life. Ellaine admitted to her that she was insecure about her beauty, personality and heart. She felt like Beige had everything. The two ladies hold each other's hands. They knew that they were the two women that Jim loved throughout his whole entire life. They both know that the past is always in the past while the present is there to be its future. It was a heartfelt conversation. Before Ellaine left, she warned Beige to not ever cross paths again if possible. She begged her not to be part of his life anymore. They separated and as Beige starts to walk to her car, she remembered Jim. She uttered, "It's over Jim. It's over, why do I keep on remembering you?" She was too annoyed at the idea of having to think about him lately, when she shouldn't have to. She went inside her and screamed her feelings out. She felt like something had died again inside of her. Blake had been calling her many times already, but she didn't bother to answer her phone. She was so mad at herself. She felt that she had lost a battle because she didn't fight for it. Beige meets Ellaine. Ellaine meets Beige. That is the highlight of their day. The two women who sacrificed a lot just for Jim. The two women who define love in different ways. The two women who battled every pain. The two women whom Jim loves.
