"PASSION FOR LOVE"

PAST MEETS PRESENT

The relationship that Blake and Beige have is something genuine. It was a love made with so much sincerity. A love that flourishes as time passes by. Beige's family are very supportive of their strong relationship. As the days went by, she definitely learnt to love him. She realizes how pure his love for her. She lives to see another day to experience this all over again. To love and to be loved is what makes her world go round and round. One time, on a busy day in the coffee shop, Jim happened to go there all by himself. He ordered a cappuccino coffee and sat on the balcony upstairs. He looks like he is enjoying his coffee. Blake saw him and approached him. He was smiling at Jim. He asked him how the coffee was. Jim said it was very good. Too good that he remembered someone special. Without knowing, Blake just simply smiled at him. And he was just grateful that the customer liked the coffee. That, it's good to know that their coffee makes it bring back memories either good or bad. It was their first encounter. Jim has been in the area for two weeks already. He will be staying there for a month for a special training session for his job back home. Before he left, he told Blake that he would definitely go back there while he was staying near the place. Blake loves the idea and he assures Jim that he is always welcome to visit his store. Meanwhile, Beige was too busy with her upcoming projects for her new clients. It was an exciting year ahead of her. From being in a relationship again down to a growing career. Even though she is busy. Blake never fails to bring her a coffee every day. After work, he still picks her up. They eat dinner together, but sometimes he can't make it due to more customers in his shop. It was Friday evening, when Jim decided to go back to the shop to have another sip of coffee. It was Jim who personally made and served it to him. He sits with him comfortably. He was very glad to share a table with Jim, who always had positive feedback on their products. Jim willingly shared with him how special this girl was. Blake also mentioned how much his girl loved the cappuccino coffee also. Jim was pleased to hear that. He told Blake how much he regretted losing this girl. He added that if he could turn back time, he would fight for her. Blake realized how much this man loved this woman that he was talking about. He felt like a part of this man still wanted the woman back into his life. When Jim was about to share the reason why he and Beige didn't last, someone called him. It was his wife. He stood up and bid goodbye to Blake to answer his phone. Blake remained on the balcony while watching Jim went outside his store. A moment after he goes, Beige happily walks down, while she waves her hand at Blake. It was almost a reunion for the two lovers from the past. Blake shared with Beige that he had talked to someone whom he thinks still didn't got over his ex-love. Beige feels sorry for the guy. Afterwards, they just decided to eat the cupcake that Beige made for him. They just had an ordinary night. Days go by, and Blake rarely sees her because of her tight schedule for work. For the third time, he met with Jim again. This time he invited him to come over to one of the restaurants near his store to celebrate because it's his last week already in the area. He happily agrees to his invitation. But, Blake also asked him if he could take his girlfriend with him. Jim thinks it's a good idea. That night, Blake immediately informed Beige about the dinner this coming Saturday. She checks her schedule but she refuses to go with him. Blake felt sad for a moment because he expected that she wouldn't be busy during that time. She smiles jokingly at him. She said that she was only kidding and would go with him. It was a beautiful Saturday night. The flowers are singing. The air is fresh. The sky is glowing. Beige is prettier than ever with her awesome dress. The night was young and Blake's heart skipped a beat seeing her girl looking so elegant. In the restaurant, Jim is there patiently waiting for them. It was already seven in the evening, when Beige suddenly remembered that she had forgotten to bring her bag. She asked Blake if he could go back first to her apartment. Blake was furious. He said that they would be late if she went back to her place. Beige told him that he could come first and that it wouldn't be long for her to come back again. As Blake entered the place, Jim was already inside. He stood up right away and invited him to come over. Blake was sorry to inform Jim about what happened. Jim understood and just ordered food for them to enjoy. They talked about business and some stuff to make their conversation even better. It was an hour already when Beige wasn't there yet. Blake was feeling mad and he called her. She said that she was on the way. But, Jim properly told Blake that he had to go already. He still had some errands to do before his flight the next day. He just told him that he would love to meet his girl maybe next time. He was happy having to know Blake in the area. He promised him that he would surely come back in the future. After a couple of minutes, Beige shows up already but Jim isn't there anymore. Beige apologized to him but, instead of being angry at her, he just ordered another set of meal for her to eat. They just make it a dinner date for them. Blake mentioned again that next time, he hoped that she would also meet him. Beige swallowed her food, then asked Blake if he got his name. Blake suddenly remembered that he hadn't asked for his name. Beige laughed so hard because they both agreed to dine with him but he wasn't even able to ask his name in the first place. He was very embarrassed at her, but he just said that he would just ask his employee for his name, since they usually write the names of their guests on the cup. That night ended still gracefully. They have a good catch up after all those days that they were not able to spend that much. The next morning, Jim is at the airport already waiting to board. He remembered someone. It was Beige. He wonders how she is lately, where she is at the moment or if she still remembers him also. Those are the thoughts that haunt him during that very moment. He was there for a month, but there was never a time that they crossed paths again. He just sighed and tried to remove those thoughts in the thin air. On the other hand, Blake was a little too late to arrive at his shop because he and Beige went home late last night. He grabs a cup of coffee and asks one of his workers if they remember the name of the guy that he made friends with. The staff answered him right away, that the name of that guy was Jim. He can't believe what he heard, but he knows there's a bigger possibility that the guy he met and the guy that Beige almost met again is the same guy who broke her heart. He was left with no words to speak. In his mind, he thought that he had almost reunited the two lovers from the past. "Hell no," he said. But, after all, he was still glad that they didn't meet again. He was just thankful that she left her bag that night. At the end of that day, one thing is certain for Blake and that is, he will never see him again. Never in this lifetime, will he allow him to come back to Beige's life again.
