FIRST LOVE

The sun has risen already. It was a beautiful Sunday morning. After going to church, Blake and Beige both shared their cup of coffee. Later that afternoon, he asked her to come with him. They both went to a massage spa. They both needed that relaxation because it had been so stressful, most especially for Beige. She was glad that he took her there. Afterwards, they both went to a restaurant to have their dinner. While having their dinner, she mentioned again the guy met by Blake in his coffee shop. She was asking him if he could help him, to suggest more things about his coffee shop, since they already considered each other as friends. Blake stopped eating after hearing what she said. His mood suddenly changes and he tells her not to talk about him anymore because chances are they will not see each other again. Beige was shocked by his reaction. She just changed the topic and told him to chill. He asked sorry to her, afterwards. It was a simple and ordinary day for the lovers. On the other hand, Jim and Ellaine, together with their daughter, went to the beach to have a family bonding session. It was a great time for them to enjoy the heat of the sun. It was more like making more memories as one happy family. One time, Jim went back to the city. He never forgets to also go to the coffee shop of his friend, Blake. When he reached the place, Blake was not there yet. He just ordered his coffee and waited for him to catch up with him for a while. He was informed by the staff that he would be there a few minutes from now. He waited patiently. When, all of a sudden, he saw at a distance a woman whose face was quite familiar to him. He stood up from his chair. Beige also saw him. She was outside, standing. She can't seem to move while seeing him again for such a long time. It's like she froze for a moment. Their eyes met. They stared at each other for a while. Suddenly, she ran faster. He tried to run after her. But, she ran so fast, he could not go after her. It felt like they had seen a ghost from yesterday. He just stood outside the shop, seeing her to leave like that again. Blake arrived. He was also shocked to see him again. He asked him what he was doing there at that certain time. Blake felt so nervous because he knew that they had an agreement with Beige that they would meet up at the shop. And, seeing Jim in the area was the last thing that he wanted to happen that time. But, he manages to act like nothing was wrong. He just asked Jim if he could come back another time because he had an appointment he needed to attend. After what happened, Jim also just agreed with him. Blake felt a sigh of relief. Jim noticed the body language of Blake. That's why he asked him if everything was alright. He said that he was fine. He even told him to inform him next time before he dropped by at his shop. Jim was curious why he would say that. He thought that anytime he could come and visit. But, he just erased that thought right away. They exchange numbers and properly introduce themselves to each other. Blake seemed in a hurry to let Jim out of the area. He was sweating nervously. He felt like he had just experienced a panic attack. Jim was still shocked about seeing her one more time. Of all the places that they should have met again. He saw her at a coffee shop. A reminder of how much she loves cappuccino. A reminder of her to him every time he visits the place. He just left the whole place again with the thoughts of her. As she ran so fast, she didn't notice that she had almost reached her house. She was furious about seeing him again. She still couldn't believe what had just happened. She messaged Blake that she couldn't come anymore. He definitely agrees. He had just told her that he would just come to her house later that night. Beige can't seem to find the right words after seeing Jim once again. She didn't understand why she felt like she was still hurt. The thoughts of him still linger on her. That night, Blake arrived at her place with a pizza and a bottle of beer for them to enjoy. He was still left in awe, trying to remember what happened that morning. His mind is filled with what ifs. What if they meet again? What if she still loves him? What if? Beige goes out to her room. They both just asked each other how their day was. But, neither of them shared what happened to them that morning. It was a moment of silence. They both feel like it's not right to share that they both see Jim. When he was about to leave, he asked her if there was any slightest chance that she would go back to her first love. Beige cannot believe why he asked that question out of nowhere. She tried to answer it firmly. She was very vocal with him that she would never go back and try to haunt Jim again. She also added that he's married already, so she asked Blake not to ask these questions again. Blake apologized to her and felt so relieved. He was confident now that no one could have his girl, not even her first love. But, as she turned her back to Blake, she knew that it was the complete opposite. For her, there are some feelings that never go away. Maybe she can't have him anymore, but the feeling is still there. It doesn't fade and leaves. They are each other's first love.
