FIND COMFORT IN THE CHAOS

It was one whole week of finding comfort amidst the chaos, especially in Beige's life. She is even more inspired to write. The experience that she had on her trip will serve as a reminder of how beautiful life can be if you just learn to discover it on your own. She was also thankful that she was never alone during that vacation. Fortunately, she met a stranger who somehow helped her to appreciate the island even more. A stranger who never judged her. A stranger who embraced her as she tried to explore the jaw-dropping view of the whole place. A stranger whom she had spent a good time with. It was Sunday afternoon, when she was about to leave the place. She was not ready to go but she had to. Her flight is later that night. Blake, on the other hand, will still stay there for another week. He was not so glad to hear it when she told him that her time there was over. He told him that he enjoyed the days that they were together a lot. He even jokingly requested her to stay longer. But, she refuses because she still has tons of work to do. But, she promised herself that she would go back to the island. Blake tries to ask for her number but again she refuses to give it to him. For her, what they both have in that place is more than enough already. She doesn't want to take it more seriously. He felt no good about her decision but he respected her. They said goodbye to each other. Blake claims that he is happy to meet her and he hopes to maybe see her again in the future. She smiled back at him and waved goodbye. She almost didn't reach her flight. Good thing she was able to make it on time. When Beige leaves, Blake starts to miss her out of nowhere. He sits near the palm tree while thinking about her. He was very hopeful to see her again in the future. He still wanted to have more time with her. Weeks had passed, Beige was busy at her work. She was focused on writing her new stories. She felt good because she was still so high on her trip weeks ago. Her days became so normal. She works the whole day then returns to her condo, then repeats again. At times, she was used to doing that. She was very much flattered by how peaceful her days lately. She was basically enjoying her single era. One early morning, it was Saturday. She decided to get up early. She strolls in the park while using her headphones listening to music. As she was about to return home, she saw a coffee shop. She thought she needed to go there first to sip coffee. As she entered the shop, the ambiance was nice and fantastic. It's a good place to chill while having her coffee. She ordered her favorites and sat upstairs while looking at the view of the city. She waited for a couple of minutes, then someone who looked very familiar took her order with him. She stood still and felt shocked seeing Blake with her cappuccino coffee. Blake smiled happily at her. They met again after a month in his own store. It was unreal for the two of them, but they were both glad to cross paths again. Blake believes it was meant to be. Beige, who happens to be tired of love, surely doesn't believe him. For her, they just met by chance. Though, she was happy to see him again. They both didn't expect that early morning catch up. She still loves the coffee and the sweetness it will still bring to her life. After that unexpected meet up, she bids goodbye to him again. He again asks for her number but she still refuses to give it to him. Blake knew it would be very hard, but he understood her. He just hopes that there will be another time that they will cross each other again unexpectedly. A week after work, she decided to go out with her colleagues to eat in a fancy restaurant. They shared good food, red wine, an amazing view and in-depth conversation. When, all of a sudden, one of his workmates stands up to fetch his good friend near the area. Beige looks so fine with her red lipstick and stiletto. As the door opened, there was a man who looked so damn hot and handsome walking near them. She was very surprised to see him again at that very moment. She cannot believe what she is seeing. Blake was introduced to everyone. He sits beside her. She pinches him and whispered, "Wow! I can't believe you." He smiled back at her and said, Oh! Well. Again, maybe this is meant to be." Everybody had a good night. Each one of them started to go home already. It was only him and Beige left in the room. He asks her to walk with him. She was already a little drunk but this time she agreed with him. Blake was truly pleased. As the conversation started, Jim suddenly crossed her mind. She remembers this is how they started also. Blake noticed her sudden quietness. That's why, instead of walking. He took her to church. She cannot believe that, of all places, he took her there. In her mind, she also feels impressed by him. There he jokingly said to her, that someday the church would witness their love story, that someday God would see them loving each other forever. Beige laughs so hard upon hearing it. He thinks that this man is going crazy. But, Blake started to say words again, "But, seriously, I really want to take you here because I want you to surrender everything to him. I may not know you personally, but I know that God will take away all the fears and pains in your heart." She was grateful to hear those words from him. She didn't expect that he had a side of him that really came closer to God. That a mere stranger whom she only met on a beautiful island would take her to a safe place to release her heartaches. She was satisfied with how life was slowly becoming good for her. They walked until they reached her place. She asks him to come over to have a cup of tea. Blake agrees. They went outside the balcony of her house and talked about more random things. For her, it was a life full of chaos, from her illness down to her discontinued love. But, life still rewards her comfort and that night she found it with Blake.
