“Are you okay?” I asked her as she was being treated by the healers.
“Yeah,” she sighed. The healers worked on Dana until she was ready to get back on her feet.
“You’re the only one who made it out without being torn to shreds.”
“I’m impressed,” added Martha who ushered the healers out of the tent. “When did you know how to use the lightning technique?”
“I read some books containing it and it worked,” Dana laughed.
“You can’t be serious.”
“I am actually.”
“Not everyone who has that ability can use it smartly the way you did. That was a dangerous move but one I am glad you did.”
