The man shrugged. “Famine, flooding, there are a lot.”
“I thought you would give me some kind of reassurance based on the situation at hand,” I pouted with a frown.
“I am giving you reassurance but I won’t lie to you. You need to trust that your men can handle things or you could end up being in trouble.”
“I trust them, it’s the people in the pack I don’t trust.”
“Can I give you a piece of advice my liege?” he asked.
“Yes.”
“Don’t force whatever is inevitable away. If it comes, take it as it is and double down with ways to solve it.”
His advice wasn’t bad but I didn’t want trouble to be made.
