Dahnya’s POV: Everyone seemed to be happy about my decision to quit my job. Sure, it would leave me with less stuff to juggle. My mate has been holding my hand, and I can’t get enough of the tingles running beneath my skin. I turn my head to face him and catch him staring at me. “Well, since we have finished our dinner, how about we head to the diner now, and you can give Janice your written notice?” I nod. That sounds like a good idea. “My next shift is only on Tuesday, and I can probably get Rochelle to cover that too.” My mother pulled out a notepad and a pen, and I wrote my resignation letter by hand.
