Dahnya’s POV:
We left early this morning, just after breakfast. I asked my dad if he wanted me to stay for his discussion with my mother, but he said that he would feel better knowing that I am far away from the human territory, safe and sound, with Levi. I did not realize how worried he must have been about people finding out and what they might do to me.
Come to think of it — I also wonder what would happen. Does the government have a secret laboratory somewhere where they run tests on werewolves or other humanoid species? Are there other strange beasts lurking in the shadows who look like us by day but something entirely else at night? I never gave this much thought. What about vampires and witches. Trolls, do they exist?
