Dahnya’s POV:
I know we agreed to shower together after tonight’s bonfire, but all this anger has caused some extra sweating — not my style. Levi’s mom just came home. I am not sure where she spent her afternoon, but she smiles brightly when she enters the kitchen and sees us. “I hope you kids had a nice afternoon? I heard you went out exploring.”
I smile and greet his mother, and Levi tells her all about our afternoon at the cave and the fire we built. He omits the part about that skanky wolf, which is likely for the better, as I have only just relaxed. “Levi, I am going to take a quick shower before dinner. “You can stay and chat with your mom if you like?”
