Avery’s POV:
Last night was fun; Dahnya and I had never spent time with the boys outside of school before. When Bas asked me about our plans, I secretly hoped he asked because of me. I’ve liked him for a while now. It crept up on me. He’s always been this considerate guy, and he’s never hit on me, or Dahnya. Come to think of it, I’ve never seen him hitting on anyone.
In any case, I think I looked hot in my dark green bikini. I chose it with him in mind. Dahnya looked effortlessly beautiful, as always. It’s a good thing she’s so down to earth because, with her looks, she could just as easily become a queen b***h. Nah, I laugh at this thought; Dahnya doesn’t have a shred of vanity. I think she’s oblivious to what her mama gave her. My girl is sweet and hardworking, and I love her for it.
