I haven’t fallen asleep again after making it back to my bed. I wanted to stay with her. This is bullshit. I should contact my Alpha later this morning. He’s been freakishly patient with me. And my mother, oh lord, I should update her too, or she’ll snap and call me at an inconvenient time. I smile, thinking of my mother. She’s super excited. She’ll love Dahnya, so will dad. And Brie… she’ll probably follow Dahnya around like a lost puppy. The older sister she never had. And Estelle…? How she must miss her daughter. To have to see photos of that perfect young person and not be able to hold her. I can relate. Not to mention the siblings that Dahnya does not know of. I get up and jump into the shower.
