When I left Dahnya’s house last night, my wolf was in an uproar. Her soft whimpers played over and over in my mind. He was right, it was taking too long. We hadn’t laid a finger on her yet. And we didn’t have anything with her scent on it to get us through the night. Thank goodness daylight has broken. Today is a new day, and another opportunity to see her and perhaps even meet her. Unfortunately, I doubt I’ll get around to touching her very soon. I get up and see it’s just after 7 am. I take a leak, hop in the shower and get myself presentable. I had a restless night’s sleep, but thankfully my face doesn’t show it. I have breakfast at the diner again and make a mental note that the annoying woman, Janice, comes in at 11 am.
