Dahnya’s POV:
Anthony took my brothers home, and Brie skipped off to the cabin with us trailing behind her. “That was fun, hey?” She is such a happy child, and I can’t help but wonder what Levi was like at her age. “Yeah, it was awesome. The cave is a cool place to hang out.”
Levi stops in his tracks, and his eyes glaze over. He is communicating with somebody, and I see his head nod up and down once. His eyes return to normal, and he winks at me. “Nothing to worry about — we will have visitors from another pack tonight. Some folks are coming to see their family here over the weekend. I usually do border patrol, but I am on a leave of absence for my mission.”
